Inclusive Education Survey

We invite Ontario K–12 principals and vice principals to participate in a 20-minute online survey about inclusive education

Research consistently highlights the essential role of school principals in implementing and sustaining inclusive education (Cobb, 2015; Geleta, 2019; Khaleel et al., 2021). While much of the literature focuses on teachers, principals strongly influence school culture, resource allocation, and the expectations that determine whether students with disabilities experience belonging and meaningful learning.

The Add*Ed Research Group at Queen’s University is conducting a study to better understand:
  1. Principals’ perceptions and attitudes toward inclusive education
  2. How principals report promoting inclusive practices in their schools
  3. How principals view their impact on the implementation of inclusion

We are asking current Ontario K–12 principals, senior principals, and vice principals to share their experiences through a 20-minute online survey containing both closed- and open-ended questions.
